DDB rapps on with Siraj

Regional - Close on the heels of appointing Valli Lakshmanan as CEO for Rapp Singapore, DDB Asia Pacific has hired Mohammed Sirajuddeen as CEO of Rapp Asia in a newly-created role.
Siraj has over 19 years of agency experience in Asia having aworked at agencies like Y&R, Wunderman and Euro RSCG. Some of his key clients in Asia have included Accenture, Citibank, Dell, Ford and Microsoft.
"There is an increasing focus on Asia and we see this as an opportunity to take the lead in CRM in this region. Rapp is already well established in Australia and New Zealand and we want to create the same presence and offering in Asia," John Zeigler, president and CEO of DDB Group Asia Pacific, and chairman of Rapp Asia Pacific, said.
Siraj, who was most recently regional digital director of Y&R Asia, will be based in Singapore in his new position. Rapp covers 12 markets in Asia Pacific and its clients in the region include Exxon Mobil, Air France, Canon, McDonald's, ANZ Bank and Disney
