Global - Hewlett-Packard has chosen Omnicom Media Group (OMG) as its partner for its massive global media business, a decision that will see OMG pick up the brand's account across Asia Pacific.
OMG pitched against incumbent Zenith Optimedia for the HP account, which it had handled since 2004. This marks the second big account loss locally for Zenith after StarHub moved to MindShare in January.
HP and OMG declined to comment when contacted by Marketing. According to overseas media, the pitch included all four HP divisions and it is believed PHD may handle the account throughout Asia Pacific. BBDO Worldwide handles HP's global creative.
