Ross Settles on SCMP digital gig

Hong Kong - The SCMP Group has appointed Ross Settles (pictured) to a newly created role as director of digital business for the South China Morning Post.
As director of digital, Settles will be responsible for the South China Morning Post's digital strategies, reporting into Hui Kuok, managing director & CEO of the SCMP.
Settles has close to 20 years of media experience working in strategy, marketing and product development in the newspaper and online industry such as LA Times, The Baltimore Sun, The San Jose Mercury News and Yahoo!
He also held senior positions in a number of companies including Knight Ridder Digital, Red Herring and Times Mirror before managing his own digital consultancy business in the US since 2006.
