CNN.com pulls in big numbers for Obama
Global - Early data shows audience numbers to CNN.com Live during president Obama's inauguration topped 136 million.
According to Omniture SiteCatalystm as of January 20th at 3:30 pm (US ET), CNN.com generated more than 136 million page views, while CNN.com Live served more than 21.3 million live video streams globally, shattering its all time total daily streaming record set on election day which recorded 5.3 million live streams.
The addition of live Facebook feeds through of CCN.com Live site looks to have seriously bolstered numbers with online reports suggesting more than 1 million people had updated their Facebook status through the CNN.com Live Facebook feed as of 2 pm ET.
Additionally, CNN.com Live estimates it served more than 1.3 million concurrent live streams during its peak, which occurred immediately prior to President Obama's inaugural address. (Source: Internal CDN monitoring data).
