Singapore - Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM) has appointed Fleishman-Hillard, for its awareness movement aimed at fostering a more gracious society.

The appointment comes close on the heels of DDB's appointment as the movement's creative agency and adds to the portfolio of government accounts the PR agency has been handling which also includes the Ministry of Community, Youth & Sports' Marriage Central.

"We will gear up and promote this Movement with Project Gracious in 2009 through specific programs targeted at five sectors - home, school, workplace, neighbourhood and to visitors," Teh Thien Yew, general manager of Singapore Kindness Movement, said.

The Singapore Kindness Movement is a charity organisation which is housed in the MICA building. It was launched in January 1997 by senior minister, Goh Chok Tong, with a $1.2m advertising campaign.
