Jet Airways takes off in blogosphere
Hong Kong- Jet Airways has dipped its toes into Yahoo's blogosphere to promote Indian tourism in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
The idea of collaborating with Yahoo was initiated by Madison Communications, which has been tasked to handle Jet Airways' current marketing campaign, an investment that worth up to HK$1 million.
Madison will be responsible for the campaign's event management, creative production and marketing.
The online campaign features a competition on Yahoo! HK where the public have a chance to win free return tickets to India by submitting their reason for traveling to India. The blog section in Yahoo is designed to generate readers' comments and knowledge of what traveling to India is like.
In addition to the online campaign, Jet Airways has also held public events in Shenzhen to promote Indian cultures. Strategic PR, the Indian airline's retainer PR agency in Hong Kong, on the other hand, will continue to support the PR of the campaign.
