Netball Singapore grabs attention outdoor

Netball Singapore, The Next Big Thing and Clear Channel have collaborated and brought together a customised out-of-home campaign to create awareness for the Mission Foods Nations Cup 2015 and garner support for Team Singapore.Mission Foods Nations Cup is an international netball competition that will be happening at the OCBC Arena, Singapore Sports Hub. The world ranking teams from different continents will play against each other in the final.Through Clear Channel’s FitBuff network, Netball Singapore will be able to reach out to its target audience of sports enthusiasts effectively. The NFC chip and QR code on the Connect platform will also be activated to direct users to the ticketing page when they tap or scan with a smartphone.The ad visual featured Charmaine Soh “in action” together with 2D creative comprises a larger than life netball pole complete with a net. This campaign is further supported by a customised canopy at Parkway Parade which will be live for four weeks from 19th November till 16th December 2015 and 100 faces of 6-sheet printed posters for two weeks.“With Clear Channel’s Create, we are able to come up with an exciting and unmissable campaign by ‘bringing’ the netball goal post to the heart of the city centre,” Cyrus Medora, chief executive officer, Netball Singapore, said.“Impact matters. Outdoor advertising that offers large format at eye level is hard to ignore; more so one that provides an immersive experience,” Kelly Khoo, chief executive officer, Clear Channel Singapore, said.Connect is the first global out-of-home mobile interactive advertising platform. 75,000 pedestrian-accessible sites worldwide will be fitted with Connect tags, turning them into mobile launch pads and enabling consumers to access interactive content from advertisers via their smartphone.Connect uses Near Field Communication (NFC) and QR technology. It creates seamless integration between out-of-home and mobile, driving deeper brand engagement with consumers when they are out and about; helping advertisers and their agencies to realize mobile strategies fit for the real world. All 3,800 6-sheet advertising panels and 30 digital advertising panels in Singapore are Connect-enabled.
