MyStarjob launches Windows 8 app

MyStarjob has created the first Malaysian Windows 8 app to reach out to a wider audience.The MyStarjob application enables job seekers to browse latest job vacancies and provides self-improvement articles to help users boost employability."We hope that the myStarjob application will be able to offer a large number of employment opportunities to suit our jobseekers' career progression," said Serm Teck Choon, head of MyStarjob Network.The application was developed by MyStarJob Network, a wholly owned subsidiary of Star Publications, under a partnership with Microsoft Malaysia."Our strategic partnership with The Star has resulted in a great, useful and user-friendly Windows 8 style application for consumers," said Lai Hoong Fai, principal technical evangelist, Microsoft Malaysia.The myStarjob application is available for download in the Windows Store and can be used on PCs and mobile devices.
