Mutant Communications builds up HR practice team

Mutant Communications has appointed former Human Resources magazine editor Rebecca Lewis as account director.Lewis will spearhead the agency’s expanding HR practice, which offers specialised public relations and content marketing services for HR and recruitment clients in Singapore and wider Asia. Lewis’ hire is part of Mutant Communications’ aggressive growth strategy focused on expanding its three key practices – human resources; luxury, lifestyle and events; and media and technology.With more than 10 years of journalism experience, Lewis will play a key role in business development – introducing Mutant’s services to leading recruitment firms and HR providers, whilst managing important client relationships and leading accounts.“Lewis is one of the most knowledgeable media specialists in the field of human resources and talent management – she’s the perfect choice to drive our business expansion through specialised offerings for HR firms and recruitment agencies,” Joseph Barratt, founder and managing director of Mutant Communications said.Prior to her appointment, Lewis was editor at Human Resources magazine for three years, where she helmed content creation for the publication’s print and online assets across Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Lewis has also served as editor of leading expat publication ANZA magazine and reported for the Herald on Sunday, one of New Zealand’s leading newspapers.
