Publicis Groupe communications agency MSLGROUP has appointed Steve Dormon (pictured) as director of the consumer practice in Singapore.
In his new role, Dormon will oversee the development of communications strategies across 10 markets for a large global FMCG company. He will lead MSLGROUP teams in developing marketing communications strategies and campaigns for Singapore based clients across various sectors.
Dormon has had over 28 years of branding and marketing experience. He has worked on campaigns for global brands such as British Airways, Coca-Cola, HP, Johnson & Johnson, and Unilever. Previously with global creative agencies Lowe and Partners and Publicis Worldwide, Dormon has worked on key global accounts in Paris, London, and Budapest before arriving in Singapore in 2011.
Dormon said, “ Over the years, I have witnessed a significant market shift with a decline in advertising spend. Dollars are increasingly allocated towards firms like MSLGROUP instead, who has stayed ahead of the curve through integrated marketing communications capabilities grounded in data and insights that actually moves the needle in clients’ businesses.”
Kelvin Yeo, managing director, MSLGROUP in Singapore, said: “Tapping on Dormon ‘s creative and integrated agency experience is an indication of the multi-skill, multi-channel approach and capability that MSLGROUP is bringing to its clients.”
