Ming KH secures seven new accounts

Ming, KH & Associates (Ming KH) has secured seven accounts and appointed a client service director and PR manager.The PR agency bagged American International Assurance Malaysia (AIA Malaysia) following a four-way pitch in January.The firm earlier won projects from Bahrain Economic Development Board and CFA Institute while Britain's University of Reading had also engaged its services for its Malaysian campus in EduCity at Nusajaya, Johor.All three wins were secured in collaboration with its foreign partners in Singapore and London, said K.H. Lim, the other principal of the firm.Ming KH also won the pitch for London Stock Exchange's high-growth market, formerly known as Alternative Investment Market, listing exercise involving the acquisition of a Malaysian bio-tech firm at the forefront of nano-technology.In January, Ming KH handled the media launch of Sedunia Travel as the general sales agent for Globus Family of Brands, which handles half a million tourists a year.Ming KH was also appointed to manage the Malaysian launch of the Korean-based dr. dream dermatological skin care and cosmetics brand.To beef up its servicing team, Tan May Lee (pictured left) was appointed client service director while Bonnie Liew was promoted to PR manager.Tan will lead its client servicing team to provide strategic counsel across its portfolio of clients. Among them are household names like Amway, Nippon Paint and Monier and financial and corporate clients like Eastspring Investments, The Intermark, Hektar REIT, a Bursa Malaysia-listed Real Estate Investment Trust, and media specialists GroupM.
