Microsoft settles PR pitch in Hong Kong

Microsoft Hong Kong has appointed Hill + Knowlton Strategies for a period of one year for PR support.Hill + Knowlton has been awarded the account following a pitch also involving Lewis PR and Waggener Edstrom, the company's PR partner for more than eight years.Hill + Knowlton will be tasked to oversee Microsoft's software, services and devices businesses in Hong Kong.The agency had worked with Microsoft for the launch of its Lumia devices in Hong Kong last year.The first project under the partnership will be a media event coming up on 29 July to soft-launch the new Microsoft Windows 10 operating system.
