Michelin has launched a campaign titled #SafeWithMICHELIN in a bid to reinforce its efforts to champion safety on the road for families, and proper knowledge on tire safety, selection and maintenance.
The campaign is digitally-led and will be running across various social platforms until May 2018. It features a video that focuses on car safety from a child’s perspective called “Car-ing Kids”, which comes as support to the campaign one month after the launch of the brand’s #SafeWithMICHELIN UGC contest.
The creative and social agency behind the campaign is Vocanic Malaysia, under Group M Malaysia, with the media and production agencies being Havas Media and Outpost Production respectively.
According to Leong Weng Kin, account lead for Vocanic on Michelin, the campaign looks to showcase the importance of an integrated marketing effort for a global brand, but at the same time executed with a local flair for individual markets.
“Michelin is consistently promoting safety on the road and is committed in providing some of the safest tyres on the market. The Car-ing kids is a fun and playful attempt to further raise awareness on this important topic for Michelin,” Pascal Nouvellon, managing director, Michelin Malaysia added.
