Michael McComb leaves WPP for Prudential

Michael McComb has left his role as strategy lead for WPP's Team Bank of America Merrill Lynch for a senior marketing role with Prudential.McComb, the former head of branding and services at the Hong Kong Jockey Club and Director of marketing at The South China Morning Post, will take on the role of director of brand, advertising & research at Prudential Corporation Asia.In his previous role at WPP, he worked with The Brand Union and other agencies to provide strategic and creative guidance for the global investment and corporate banking business.He also responsible for branding and marketing activities included brand strategy and positioning, identity, special program development, client engagement, new business/pitch support, thought leadership, events and conferences, employee engagement and corporate responsibility.Prior to joining WPP, he was head of branding and services at Hong Kong Jockey Club, where he responsible for conceiving and implementing major internal branding program, and developing branding programs for charities and cross-divisional brand communications strategy.
