MEC, a leading global media agency network, has appointed Carl Fremont to take on a new role of global chief digital officer, based in New York.
Fremont (pictured) will work with MEC’s digital leadership around the world to form a team to develop, grow and drive the agency’s digital business globally.
He will also serve on the agency’s Global Exco, reporting to Charles Courtier, global chief executive officer.
“Hiring Carl is an essential step in the continued growth of MEC globally,” Courtier said.
Fremont spent 13 years at Digitas leading the Global Media practice with a client list including America Express, Whirlpool, Delta, Sprint, Mars, Meade Johnson, Taco Bell and eBay.
His appointment kicks in from May.
