McCann Worldgroup has appointed Joyce Ling as its new chief strategy officer for China. Based in Shanghai, Ling is responsible for heading up the planning department and uniting McCann Worldgroup’s strategic offerings to create solutions across all disciplines and clients. Ling moves from SapientRazorfish of Publicis, where she held the role of vice president of strategy in China.
has more than 18 years of branding and communication expertise and a background in the luxury industry having worked in the past with many internationally recognised brands including Tory Burch, Michael Kors and LVMH amongst others. In her most recent post, Ling oversaw the consumer insights, brand and digital strategy development across marketing, communication, influencer marketing and content management for brands like Unilever, Nike, Heineken and Nestlé and is the author of Amazon China’s best-selling cookbook, “From Kitchen to Table.”
