McCann Health promotes Graeme Read to APAC president

McCann Worldgroup has promoted Graeme Read to the position of president McCann Health Asia Pacific, while Mark Worman is promoted to the position of EVP head of global marketing.Read will remain based out of the Singapore operation, where he has lived for the last two years. He will be responsible for McCann Health units in Asia Pacific and working closely with our McCann Worldgroup leaders.McCann Health global chief executive officer said: “Graeme has worked with the McCann Health group across Asia and Europe over the last 19 years, constantly contributing to the success of McCann Health. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in building the agency's platform offer, developing our people and creating value for our clients’ brands.Commenting on Worman appointment, Cahill said: “Mark’s new role is pivotal to the future success of the global McCann Health network. As we see the life sciences industry undergo massive transformation, this position will ensure we are in tune with our clients’ changing needs and developing highly customised solutions for their brandsWorman was previously appointed ‘caretaker’ of McCann Health Asia Pacific in addition to his global marketing responsibilities in 2014, when Amar Urhekar was named president, McCann Health Americas.John Cahill concluded: “Mark has worked with the McCann Health group across Asia Pacific, Europe and North America in senior management roles over the last 19 years.
