Ministry of Health has appointed M & C Saatchi for its branding and marketing consultancy services to raise the awareness of nursing and other healthcare professions.
M&C Saatchi is tasked to raise awareness of the various professions in the healthcare industry amongst potential recruits such as students and their eco-system, including parents.
The contract is for a period of 12 months on a retainer basis, with an option to extend for another 12 months.
The agency will also need to enhance the attractiveness of nursing and the allied health professions as potential career choices.
This is a first-time initiative by the ministry.
The scope of work for 2013 covers a brand and recruitment campaign on TV and Print, online and social media engagement, events and related collaterals. The campaign will roll out in the first quarter of 2013.
“M&C Saatchi is excited at the opportunity to once again contribute to a nationally significant initiative, and look forward to rolling out a campaign that will give people a refreshing perspective that challenges traditional perceptions about nurses and allied health professionals,” Tanuj Philip, CEO and founding partner of M&C Saatchi Singapore.
Earlier this year, the agency also bagged The Ministry of Education (MOE) account which saw eight other agencies participate. M&C Saatchi recently reopened its Singapore ops, naming Tanuj Philip (pictured) as its local lead.
