Bernard Lee (pictured) is named as the new head of marketing services at DiGi Telecommunications (Digi). Lee will report to Digi’s chief marketing officer, Loh Keh Jiat.
A+M understands that in his new role, Lee will be in charge of marketing, communications and sponsorship activation, among others. He replaces Chan May Ling who has moved to Yangon on her new position within the organisation as Telenor Myanmar’s vice president and head of brand since mid-March.
Lee who was formerly the head of marketing communications at Maxis is expected to start his new chapter sometime in early August. In his last role, he reported to Sulin Lau, head of marketing at Maxis. A+M understand Maxis is also in the process of finding Lee’s replacement.
Lee join Maxis in April 2014 and was previously the business director of DDD Worldwide Communications Group where he was based in Singapore. Prior to that, he was the senior account director at Naga DDB for about seven years.
A+M has reached out to Digi for a comment.
