OMD Sydney has appointed Mat Rawnsley as group strategy head. He has been brought on board to increase focus on expanding OMD’s strategic product across Tourism Australia and other key clients.
Rawnsley (pictured) joins OMD from The Monkeys where he spent three and a half years leading media and channel planning. He also boasts over twenty years of industry experience, encompassing multiple roles across creative and media agencies including a long stint at Omnicom Group, media director at kwp! and as communications director at Naked.
Gavin Gibson, OMD national head of strategy said: “Mat Rawnsley harbours all the skills and expertise necessary to continue driving the industry forward with truly innovative work.”
Rawnsley will report to Gibson.
