Malaysia Effies appoint chairman

The CEO of Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) Dato' Noharuddin Nordin has been appointed as the chairman for the executive council of Malaysia's Effie Awards."We welcome all effective marketing campaigns to compete in the Effie Awards as it has become the most recognised and prestigious award by agencies and advertisers alike. This award raises the bar for branding effectiveness in Malaysia," Nordin said.The Effies has also extended its deadline for application till 4 August. Ogilvy & Mather is handling the advertising for the Malaysia Effies' call for entries campaign.
