MAHB names interim CEO as MD Badlisham steps down

Malaysia Airports Holdings (MAHB) has appointed CFO Raja Azmi Raja Nazuddin as group CEO, as MD of MAHB Datuk Mohd Badlisham Bin Ghazali comes to the end of his contractual tenure.According to a Bursa filing, Raja Azmi has been with MAHB for over two years. Meanwhile, Mohd Badlisham has been with MAHB since 23 June 2014 and sits on the boards of its wholly-owned subsidiary companies. Prior to that, he was CEO and non-independent director of Multimedia Development Corporation.MAHB's immediate to long-term strategy involves the designing and implementing of a plan to enhance its quality of service. It will focus heavily on increasing operational and logistics efficiencies and enhancing human convenience, and will further equip itself with the funding required to expand facilities in order to effectively manage the increasing volume of traffic, visitors and cargo shipments, the Bursa filing stated.MAHB's chairman Y.A.M Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Syed Anwar Jamalullail, thanked Mohd Badlisham for his "tireless efforts and dedication" in steering MAHB over the last four years. MAHB will make the necessary announcements once a successor has been identified.
