Spelling errors are common and mostly forgivable. But when you are a sporting giant like Adidas, chances are, the backlash is going to be bigger than usual.A recent campaign by the German sporting giant, running in the US for the 2016 Copa America tournament, spells South American country Colombia as "Columbia". This unfortunately did not go unseen by the Twitter-verse.https://twitter.com/pedrothecoach/status/740564789970112513 https://twitter.com/EnaOssaEs/status/740038437290561536 https://twitter.com/steph_uhny95/status/740276918696726528Adidas has since apologised for the error and said it would remove all the ads and replace with new ones – understandably with the proper spelling.Ouch!
