Hong Kong Disneyland wins Marketer of the Year

Hong Kong Disneyland has taken out the prestigious title of Marketer of the Year at the 2013 Marketing Excellence Awards.Organised by Marketing magazine, the Marketing Excellence Awards celebrate the best marketing and communications campaigns across Hong Kong, from unique one-off executions to long term programmes.This year a total of 72 trophies were given out to some of Hong Kong’s top brands from CSL, AIA Group, City Chain, Watsons Water, Hotels.com , Reckitt Benckiser, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Standard Chartered Bank and Pizza Hut.But it was Hong Kong Disneyland which took out the overall position of Marketer of the Year, winning three Gold Awards and two Silver Awards.JUMP TO PHOTOSHong Kong Disneyland takes over the title of Marketer of the Year from Standard Chartered, which won the title in 2012.Other big winners from the night included WWF Hong Kong, which picked up two Gold Awards, one for its Earth Hour 2013 campaign and one for its recent Vote Ruby campaign.Harbour City also picked up two Gold Awards for its hugely popular Rubber Duck @Harbour City campaign, along with Citibank, which also walked away with two Gold Awards.More than 430 people attended this year’s black tie awards, held at The Mira Hotel last Friday 15 November.A host of the city’s biggest advertising agencies from Ogilvy & Mather, McCann Worldgroup Hong Kong, Grey Group Hong Kong, PHD Hong Kong, TBWA\Hong Kong, Mindshare Hong Kong, Cherrypicks Limited, Rice 5, Turn Creative and AllRightsReserved were there to support and collect awards with their top clients.This is the second year the awards have been held.Here's the complete winners list.FOLLOW US LIVE ON TWITTER HEREExcellence in Integrated MarketingGold Rubber Duck @ Harbour CityBrand: Harbour CityAgencies: AllRightsReserved.
