In an attempt to let brands develop a more targeted content marketing strategy, LinkedIn’s has come up with its "Showcase Pages" feature. The page is an extension of “Company Pages” and allows companies to create pages for their own brands, businesses and initiatives.Showcase Pages are pages that allow companies to highlight different aspects of their business and build relationships with the right communities, said LinkedIn on its blog. This is available to all companies globally and like company pages, users are also able to follow Showcase Pages. The page has been launched following a trial period with clients such as Adobe, Microsoft, Cisco and HP."Creating valuable content begins by understanding what content your audience is interested in and already consuming, and filling in the gaps,” Josh Graff, head of marketing solutions at LinkedIn, EMEA, said. Also, unlike LinkedIn Groups, which are controlled by an administrator, the Showcase Pages allow companies to control the content of the page. Companies are able to operate up to ten such pages. LinkedIn also said that it will work with larger companies that wish to operate more pages.
