Limited edition Volkswagen Beetle snapped up in 20 minutes on Lazada

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) made a new industry record this week, when all of its 12 limited edition Beetles posted for sale on Lazada Malaysia were sold out in just 20 minutes.Its first car was bought within just 26 seconds after Lazada Malaysiaâs Online Revolution mega-sale flagged off in the midnight of 12 December 2017.These limited edition Beetles, that were sold exclusively on Lazada cost RM112,1121 each. They come in two designs, the âHerbie 53â (in pure white and white silver), and the âhot bugâ (in tornado red). All of them come with a five-year manufacturer warranty and five-year roadside assistance.Each set of hot wheels comes with a 1.2-litre turbocharged TSI engine with output of 103.6hp, 7-speed, dual-clutch direct shift automatic transmission that powers a maximum torque of 175 Nm.
