Levi's gets new brand leadership

The company has appointed Jennifer Sey, the current senior vice president of e-commerce to take up the role of global chief marketing officer for the Levi's brand.Sey is responsible for marketing strategies across all of the Levi's brand product categories and reports to Levi's brand executive vice-president and president James Curleigh (pictured).Meanwhile, the company has also made a series of senior hires as well.Karyn Hillman has joined the company from Calvin Klein Jeans and Accessories to take up the newly created role of chief product officer. Grant Barth, the current head of the men's merchandising team for the Levi's brand, will also take on the newly created position of chief merchandising officer and Jonathan Cheung, who is currently vice-president of merchandising for men's tops, will be the new head of design."We're evolving the Levi's brand leadership team to include a global product creation, merchandising and marketing structure to help increase our share of consumers' closets around the world," Curleigh said.He added that making the changes will allow the brand to build on the brand's heritage and expand the relationship with fans.
