Leo Burnett Malaysia's Jason John heads to Wunderman

Wunderman Asia Pacific has named CRM expert Jason John as head of the network’s offices in Malaysia. He will be succeeding Subramaniam V who is leaving the agency after two years in the role.John will be based in Kuala Lumpur and reports to Nimesh Desai, managing director, Wunderman Southeast Asia. As general manager, John will oversee both Wunderman and AGENDA Kuala Lumpur. His focus will be on scaling up the offices and boosting their direct marketing and data capabilities, while championing creativity and inventive thinking.John (pictured) brings with him 20 years of integrated brand communications, digital marketing and customer relationship management experience. He was last the head of Leo Burnett/Arc CRM Malaysia, CRM head at Publicis Dialog, and the joint-business lead for Ogilvy Interactive Malaysia.He has worked with a wide array of multinational and local clients including Volvo, Nokia, Nestle, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, L’Oreal, Microsoft, Cadbury, Mazda, Diageo, BMW and Sime Darby.“The convergence of data, technology and creativity is what fuels compelling, digitally-led CRM ideas that drive accountable business results for our clients.
