Legoland plays it safe with MyTeksi

Legoland cares about its visitors with a new partnership.The theme park's has appointed mobile taxi booking application company MyTeksi as its official taxi service, effective October 2013.Thila Munusamy, director of sales and marketing of Legoland Malaysia, said the collaboration is parallel with the company’s safety commitment to its' customers.“The safety of our visitors is a priority for Legoland. Furthermore, we want to ensure that we are able to provide visitors with good public transportation options when planning a visit to the park and this is another effort from us with our partners to ensure ease of travel.”The service will be promoted in Legoland with the use of standees and buntings so that consumers are aware that the option of booking a cab through MyTeksi is available.Bookings will be managed by the park’s customer service staff trained to use the MyTeksi app. Customers are given the choice to select either executive or budget taxis before proceeding to the designated taxi stand to anywhere within the state Johor Bahru."Taking public transport minimises the added strain of driving through traffic and finding a parking space, especially when you have a car full of children," said Cheryl Goh, regional marketing head of MyTeksi.The MyTeksi app is available across iOS, Android and Windows8 platforms.
