King Content’s Peter Bakker heads to Immedia Services

Former King Content commercial director Peter Bakker has taken on a new role as managing director in Immedia Services. He will be based in Singapore and tasked with managing Immedia’s business and portfolio.According to his LinkedIn, Immedia is an international service provider of publishing and logistical solutions such as content marketing, advertising media sales, global distribution and logistics services, print brokering and others.Prior to his new role, Bakker spent six years in King Content and was with the company since its launch into Asia in 2010. During his tenure at the company, Bakker was responsible for the full management and P&L of the agency’s Asia portfolio.Prior to his role at King Content Singapore, Bakker worked as a publisher of Travel + Leisure magazine in Sydney, Australia. He was also director of marketing and circulation for the Financial Times in Hong Kong and also director of circulation Asia Pacific for The Economist.He has also had stints as a circulation director for The Economist UK, Middle East & Africa, as well as the director of circulation – Europe, based in Frankfurt. Before these roles, he held management roles at Dow Jones Courrier and DHL Aviation, both in Brussels, Belgium.
