Kindness campaign goes publicWith the theme ‘There's always time to make someone's day!', the Singapore Kindness Movement has rolled out a campaign to encourage people to take time to be kind. 3-Sixty Brand Communications was the agency in charge for its media and creative activities and has released the campaign on local and cable TV channels and OOH. A series of courtesy advertisements will also run across SMRT platforms. Additionally, materials have also be placed as various locations, including MRT trains and stations, buses and bus stop shelters, and lamp post banners.New radio station goes on airKiss 92, a new radio station by SPH UnionWorks, will officially launch on 3 September, targeting women between 30 and 50 years. Media Development Authority (MDA) awarded the media company the tender to run the radio station for the women and family last December. Advertisers targeted include those who market to these women, recognising that they are primary decision makers when it comes to household purchases. Additionally, its sister stations 91.3 and 100.3 will be undergoing brand revamp to HOT FM91.3 and UFM 100.3 respectively.BBH takes out dengue feverBBH Asia Pacific has released a community-based campaign, encouraging primary schools and community centres to fight against dengue fever. Over the next few weeks, BBH will distribute dengue swat kits to the schools and community centres, in light of the ‘dengue season', with an aim to make dengue-free measures a habit. Running through to October, the campaign will also encourage the students and community centres to create Dengue Swat Squads. Additionally, posters have also been rolled out, featuring existing Dengue Swat Squads such as The Naga Dragon Boat Swat Squad, The Toa Payoh Community Club Line Dance Swat Squad and The Sriwana Dazzlers Squad. Government departments call tendersEnergy Market Authority of Singapore (EMAS) and the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) have called pitches. EMAS is looking for a media firm to provide online publicity of the upcoming Singapore International Energy Week 2012 in October while MOM is looking to appoint an agency for its broadcasting and media planning services, promoting workplace safety in Singapore.
