Kimberly-Clark settles regional digital agency pitch

Kimberly-Clark (K-C) has appointed OgilvyOne as its regional digital agency.Confirming the appointment to Marketing, Gaurav Gupta, marketing director, ASEAN, Kimberly-Clark said the appointment is for the ASEAN region.“OgilvyOne will be responsible for creating strategic integrated digital marketing plans for our key brands in these markets,” he added. “OgilvyOne is aligned to K-C’s digital vision for our business and was selected following a multi-agency pitch process.”When contacted Soames Hines, vice president, Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific said: "We are delighted to have won the Kimberly Clark digital business in the ASEAN region. The digital opportunities for K-C's portfolio of brands are huge and we look forward to taking digital best practice to next practice as we partner together on this."The account will be run by Hines (Ogilvy Asia Pacific client leader for K-C) and Daan van Rossum (Ogilvy Asia Pacific strategy leader for K-C).The appointment follows a pitch process managed by marketing effectiveness and procurement specialist R3 and covers markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia. R3 is also currently working with SingTel on its media pitch and most recently concluded Samsung's global review for media, creative and digital.
