KFC Asia CMO Valerie Kubizniak takes on GM role

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Singapore has promoted its chief marketing officer of Asia Valerie Kubizniak (pictured) to the role of GM of KFC Restaurant Asia. According to her LinkedIn, she was in the CMO role for over three years.  She was also with parent company Yum for close to seven years.Marketing has reached out to KFC for comment.Currently, in line with the upcoming National Day festivities, KFC Singapore has rolled out a promotional menu. Mediacorp and Nestle have also partnered with KFC to “heighten excitement and the spirit of celebration” by adding a contest with daily prizes in the form of cash and even a car sponsored by Audi.The promotion period for this campaign will be from 4 July to 9 August 2018. The campaign targeted July and August as "national patriotism peaks at this period as Singaporeans gather to celebrate the nation's birthday", explained by the spokesperson for KFC.In a statement to Marketing, KFC has explained that Mediacorp will be covering exposure across all TV and radio stations, outdoor platform as well as digital. Outdoor ads ran by KFC will include bus posters and social media platforms such as Youtube and Facebook as a start.The highlight of the menu is the Goldspice chicken, coated with salted egg, curry leaves, chillies and basil on KFC’s signature fried chicken. According to a spokesperson from KFC, the combination for Goldspice chicken was created to meet Singaporean’s love for local spices and fried chicken. A chocolate hazelnut egg tart and chocolate hazelnut fries will be introduced as festive treats.
