Jonathan Sanchez's new role

Jonathan Sanchez, previously vice president of global communications & Sustainability at Unilever has taken on a new role as director of Stand Limited. He is one of the founders of Stand Limited, a business that is initially operating in Singapore and Thailand as a consultancy for leaders; with a view to expand to Myanmar in the near future.Stands expertise includes leadership communication, financial engineering and economics and political and development theorists and practitioners. The company will focus on three core activities. These include creating narratives and strategies for leaders, developing and implementing sustainable business strategies and projects for organisations and working in the government relations and external affairs sector for issues marketing.Sanchez said, "After many years in agency and working for corporates, it’s clear that there’s a real opportunity to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with authentic leaders and have powerful conversations that enable them to deliver their ambitions."He added that Stand “is not a PR agency, nor is it a marketing company, it’s an organisation that will partner with leaders wishing to refine their purpose and ambition and unlock their potential to genuinely stand for something.”Sanchez’s past includes his most recent role as vice president global communications at Unilever, covering Southeast Asia, Africa, Russia & The Middle East. In addition he was responsible for the implementation of Unilever’s  "Sustainable Living Plan" across the Southeast Asia and Australasia markets.He has also previously worked as APAC lead for marketing at Edelman, as well as leadership roles at JWT, IAC and Euro RSCG Worldwide.
