Johnson’s new face and findings

Johnson & Johnson Malaysia has appointed actress and TV host Scha Al-Yahya as the spokesperson for its new two-month-long campaign to reinforce its product Johnson’s Body Care Oxygen Fresh Gel Lotion, which was launched last year.

Prior to the campaign, the FMCG brand had conducted a consumer survey to discover Malaysian women’s sentiments about the product.

The consumer study, which included 212 women, found that 97% female respondents agreed Johnson’s Body Care Oxygen Fresh Gel Lotion absorbs quickly into the skin while 94% reported zero sticky sensation after application. Additionally, 95% of the women said their skin felt refreshed and revitalized after using the gel lotion.

The campaign, held from August to September 2013, is aimed to announce that Johnson’s® Body Care Oxygen Fresh Gel Lotion has been met with rave reviews whereby 9 out of 10 Malaysian women love its non-sticky hydration that lasts all day.

The campaign comprises of print advertisements in magazines Eh! and InTrend, TV advertisements on TV3, TV9 and Astro’s, Chinese channels, out-of-home ads at the KLCC Convex Tunnel. Social media vehicles include Johnson’s Body Care Malaysia Facebook and pre-rolls on its YouTube channel.

Johnson & Johnson Malaysia is working with BBDO for the campaign creative’s while Universal McCann will be handing its media, Marvelous its digital and Bridges PR & Events the PR for the campaign.
