Together with the marketing team, she developed the Jetstar Southeast Asia’s brand positioning, and was responsible for marketing, content and communication strategy. This resulted in the brand’s “Because You Can” brand campaign which was launched in 2015, and also Jetstar’s first SEA campaign.“Wijnbergen initiated and drove internal and external performance improvements in the media strategy moving it towards digital and mobile first. As a strong advocate and believer in the power of digital content, Jetstar Asia gained broad industry recognition the past five years,” the spokesperson added. In July this year, Jetstar released its revamped membership programme, Club Jetstar, which was launched in Singapore in 2014. The campaign was aimed at “Lobang Kings and Bargain Queens in all of us”, which is Singlish for deal-seekers.  In April, it launched a flight promotion which encourages customers to book flights for their parents and revisit the idea of family holidays. This was in view of the Mother and Father’s Day celebrations.Last year, in celebration of the nation’s  51st National Day celebrations, the airline also introduced Singlish announcements on 9 August 2016. This saw customers flying into Singapore on selected Jetstar flights hearing a Singlish version of the familiar on board announcements made by the pilots and cabin crew.
