McCann Worldgroup has appointed Jason Chia as its new digital tech lead for Malaysia.
Chia was formerly engaged with Splash Interactive, where he held the role of technical lead. He will be based in Kuala Lumpur and is responsible for driving innovative solutions across all disciplines and clients. Chia will now report directly to Ng Heok Seong, chief creative officer of McCann Worldgroup Malaysia.
In his most recent post, he led the website development projects for 6ixty8ight e-commerce in Hong Kong, Porsche Cup in China, Citibank in Singapore and Malaysia and Costa Coffee in Singapore. Over the course of his career, Chia has also worked with other local brands ranging from University of Malaya, Sunway Property, ETIKA to Media Prima.
