iris names new regional planning director

Creative network iris has appointed Mark Hadfield (pictured) as regional planning director.Based in Singapore, Hadfield will report directly into Craig Mapleston and Luke Nathans, CEO APAC, and will be responsible for the quality and profile of the strategic output for clients across Asia including Diageo, Shell and Philips.He will also contribute to driving commercial performance and providing leadership for the planning team in Singapore.Hadfield joins from iris’ London headquarters where he was planning director. At the London headquarters, he led planning and strategic output on clients including Shell, and Philips.Prior to iris, Hadfield held the position of planning director at Weapon 7 (AMV/BBDO), as well as holding senior planning positions at Southpaw (part of Hakuhodo network) and The Engine Group.Craig Mapleston, managing director, Singapore said of the appointment: “At iris we see a huge benefit in encouraging people to move around our network – to expand their own career as well as creating and sharing global learning’s and best practice, which in turn has a positive impact on our clients’ businesses."Mark Hadfield, regional planning director added: "With an enviable client list and a expert team already in place in Singapore to work with, it's clear that iris’ strategic proposition is going from strength to strength.
