iProperty appoints new GM for Malaysia and Singapore

iProperty has appointed Haresh Khoobchandani (pictured) as its new general manager of Malaysia and Singapore. The new role will commence effectively on 12 January this year.Khoobchandani brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing expertise to this position, including extensive experience driving expansion in the Asia Pacific region, according to iProperty's spokesperson.Khoobchandani was previously the GM of Microsoft Business Solutions for Asia Pacific based in Singapore. Prior to that, he was the managing director of Microsoft Thailand, where he led its transformation from a primarily on-premise software business to a mobile-first cloud-first company. He has also held numerous leadership roles across Microsoft’s Asian operations including the chief operating officer at Microsoft Indonesia.Tracey Fellows, CEO of REA Group which owns iProperty said, “I’m delighted that Khoobchandan will be joining our team in Southeast Asia. He has an intimate knowledge of the market, and a great track record of building and growing businesses in the region.
