innisfree Malaysia’s pop-up store uses QR codes to promote new serum

innisfree Malaysia has launched the Beauty Green Tea Hydrating Station at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, to promote its new green tea seed serum. The campaign, which will run until 22 April 2018, is done in partnership with VML Malaysia, Moxim, D Twelve and Hashtagcity.

The Beauty Green Tea Hydrating Station begins with a Beauty Green Tea Portal, which leverages QR code technology. Upon scanning the QR code, consumers will be led to innisfree’s microsite, where they will embark on a virtual journey into the New World of Hydration, offering them a peaceful realm to recharge.

Thereafter, visitors will be introduced to the newly upgraded green tea seed serum, and be given the opportunity to redeem a trial kit at their preferred innisfree store. They will also get information on the pop-up store’s key activities and promotions. Upon sharing the microsite on their Facebook timeline, consumers will also receive an “exclusive surprise” from innisfree Malaysia, which the company believes will help drive footfall to the Beauty Green Tea Hydrating Station.
