Edinburgh-based brand Tens Sunglasses has appointed DFW Creative as its PR agency as it plans to expand into Southeast Asia.
DFW Creative will oversee the brand’s PR outreach in Singapore and will be focused on helping the brand expand into markets within the region. Founded in the summer of 2014 and focused on producing real-life photo filter sunglasses, the brand claims to have launched the second-most successful fashion campaign on crowd funding site Indiegogo.com.
When asked about Tens Sunglasses’ expansion in the SEA region, Sian Jones, founder of Tens Asia said: “It is a savvy market, and consumers here know a good product when they see one. People in the region are also a fashion-conscious lot and are very active on the various social media platforms. We expect the bulk of our sales to be driven by social media.”
