IHG appoints overall brand lead

InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Jayne O’Brien as senior vice president of global brands, with O’Brien starting in the role today.She will be responsible for overseeing brand vision and strategy across IHG’s global portfolio of nine brands.Prior to joining IHG, O’Brien was chief marketing officer for destination and district developer Dubai Properties Group. Prior to that, she was the chief marketing officer at the Regus Group.She has also served in a number of senior marketing and commercial roles British Airways.“We are thrilled to welcome Jayne to the IHG family. Her extensive knowledge in leading brands and marketing strategy across varied industries, her innovative approach rooted in insights, as well as her strong international experience, makes her an ideal addition to our global brand team,” said Keith Barr, chief commercial officer, IHG.
