HTC’s regional communications lead exits

Smartphone maker HTC saw its regional communications lead Shane Chiang exit the firm.Chiang’s new role is head of PR and marketing for Singapore-based startup HonestBee, according to his LinkedIn. HonestBee is a concierge shopper and delivery services in the groceries business. Chiang previously held the role of global comms for HTC, but at his departure oversaw South Asia only.The phone brand has seen several senior marketer exits in the past two years. Marketing is reaching out to Chiang and HTC for more details.Earlier in July, Leon Traazil, head of digital marketing & social media, South Asia also left his role and re-entered the agency world.Last year, HTC saw the exit of Sirpa Ikola, head of marketing, South Asia, with the firm appointing its India marketing lead Manu Seth in her place.
