HTC has appointed Manu Seth as head of marketing for South Asia. Seth will be replacing Sirpa Ikola who left the company in November last year.
In his new role, Seth who has been heading up marketing in India, will be responsible for leading HTC’s regional strategic marketing growth across South Asia. He will continue to head the marketing arm in India along with markets such as Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
Seth has been working with the company since 2011 and was vital in establishing the retail strategy in India. Under his leadership HTC India also build a strong social media footprint over the past three years across various price segments. HTC India also recently partnered with major online market places such as Amazon and Snapdeal for strategic sales and worked closely with global team to set up dedicated e-commerce operations in India.
He has had over 15 years of telecoms experience in the mobile industry and has worked with brands such as Motorola, Blackberry, Tata Services, Idea Cellular and others.
