HP looks for agency partners

HP’s graphics solutions printing arm is looking to hold an agency pitch for a brand engagement program. It is looking for an agency who it can work with to reach other clients for its print services.It will appoint an agency partner that has one or more clients who are a good fit for variable data printing campaigns.Through the appointment, HP hopes to leverage on the agency’s clients to create personalised and customised campaigns. One such partnership that HP last created was with Coke where consumers’ names were personalised on the bottles. Other partners that HP has worked with on digital print campaigns include Shell, L’oreal, Audi, P&G and others.It is looking to appoint an agency with a regional presence. The agency will also have to have clients that are known brands with a regional alignment.These clients must also be willing to use print in future and participate in co-investment partnership. Verticals that HP will be looking at include high end retail, education, automotive property, hospitality and others.The pitch briefing will be held on 18 February and shortlists will be announced 26 March.
