Honda turns to the airwaves

Media Prima Radio Networks (MPRN) has announced its partnership with Honda Malaysia in the automobile brand's latest launch of the CKD Honda Jazz Hybrid, which targets youths and young executives below 35 who live in a fun and exciting lifestyle.Through the partnership, the on-ground troopers for the three Media Prima radio stations - Hot FM, Fly FM and one FM - will be driving the new Honda Jazz Hybrid and soon be known as Hot FM Hybrid Jazz Zoomerz, Fly FM Hybrid Jazz Troopers and one FM Hybrid Jazz Yat Hou Kei Ping. "Aside from the obvious aligned target markets of both entities, Honda Jazz Hybrid's tagline, ‘We are naturally Malaysian' also mirrors the stations' on-ground crew where they are constantly out and about strengthening the relationship between the station and its listeners," said Anida Mohd Tahrim, group general manager of Media Prima Radio Networks.Akkbar Danial (pictured centre), senior manager, sales and marketing of Honda Malaysia, said through this collaboration, Honda will be able to bring the CKD Jazz Hybrid closer to Malaysians. In December, all three radio teams will conduct roadshows across Malaysia, where the public is invited to test drive the car and win prizes.
