Not many years are as singularly eventful as the past one has been, with sweeping changes across the board dominating 2016 – both in the industry and otherwise.
For us at Marketing Magazine and A+M, 2016 has definitely been an eventful year, to say the least. We witnessed monumental news, hosted and attended fantastic events and experienced a number of exciting developments.
At A+M, this year, we hosted our first ever Digital Marketing Malaysia conference which brought together leading players in Malaysia’s digital marketing scene. Next year we are hoping to take it one step further and launch Next Malaysia. Next Malaysia plays homage to marketing innovation and we are looking forward to turning it around from a one day seminar to a full fledged festival dedication to all things innovation and creativity.
At Marketing Magazine Hong Kong, we organised our first-ever Futurist Live event, which provided amazing insights into what the future holds for marketers, and we’re now looking ahead to Mob-Ex in March, followed by a close look at the state of Hong Kong’s retail market in April at Retail Marketing Hong Kong 2016.
For the team at Marketing Magazine Singapore, next year marks our tenth Agency of the Year awards and we couldn’t be more excited. Due to the overwhelming demand, we are also breaking away MARKies from the Agency of the Year awards to give recognition to the agencies who have managed to bring forth both creativity and effectiveness in numerous categories.
And if those events seem too far away, don’t worry we’ve got you covered. Starting early next year, we’ve already got a slew of exciting events up our sleeve to make 2017 a year to remember, starting with the Mob-Ex Awards on February 24 in Singapore and March 3 in Hong Kong.
Before we jump right into that, though, we will be taking a short break and will be back online on January 3. So from all of us, we hope you have an amazing holiday, filled with great food, drinks, friends and family.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays from the team!
The Marketing Magazine and A+M team.
