Heineken unlocks the creativity of Singaporeans to transform the city’s skyline

Back for its third year, the latest Heineken campaign, Shape Your City, is set to empower local city dwellers across the world to actively shape their city they call home. In Singapore, it collaborated with five local creatives to lead the city state in shaping this movement starting December.This line-up of creative powerhouses includes nightlife connoisseur and “The Producer” of the team, Tracy Phillips, EDM musician and “The Entertainer”, MYRNE, “The Sound Artist” James Lye, “The Visual Artist” William Koh and “The Design Ambassador”, Yah-Leng Yu. The five of them (pictured) are expected to co-create innovative and interactive experiences within five capsules of Singapore's iconic observation wheel, the Singapore Flyer.These “City Shapers” each bring unique expertise and insight - from sound and lighting, design to music. The beer company added that it wants to motivate local residents to participate through small acts, ultimately contributing to one big act which will shape the city.“We are thrilled that Heineken has brought Cities back to Singapore for its third year. This highly anticipated event never fails to engage and excite, and have genuine impact on the cities we celebrate. This year’s theme, Shape Your City, allows the brand to showcase Singapore on a global stage, led by its citizens to open Singapore up to the world,” Venus Teoh, head of marketing at Asia Pacific Breweries (Singapore).
