Cycle & Carriage Kia, the authorised distributor of Kia Motors in Singapore, has appointed Havas Singapore as its creative agency. The agency was awarded the business after a pitch process that involved three other agencies. The contract is for a period of one year with an option to extend for another.
As part of this remit, Havas Singapore will manage the creative, digital and integrated communications for the brand. The agency will be responsible for developing a brand strategy as well as a strategy for product launch and retail communications. Work is slated to roll out end of February across the Singapore market.
“Havas Singapore team impressed us with the quality of creative ideas. It was clear to us that the team has a strong understanding of our brand’s challenges and a strong grasp of the brand strategic communications strategy. We are really excited to have them on board,” Dawn Pan, head of sales and marketing, Cycle & Carriage Kia, said.
“We are delighted to be appointed the creative partner for Cycle & Carriage Kia. Our experience in automotive category coupled with our strong strategic input and creative ideas helped us win this hotly contested account. We are looking forward to working with the clients,” Andrea Conyard, CEO of Havas Singapore, said.
Cycle & Carriage, a member of the Jardine Cycle & Carriage Group, is one of the leading automotive groups in Singapore. It started out in 1899 and currently retails Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Kia and Citroën passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
