Havas Group rejigs Indonesia leadership, names Agus Sudradjat chairman

Havas Group has rejigged its senior level management in Indonesia, in a bid to unify leadership and accelerate collaboration. This will see the appointment of Agus Sudradjat (pictured left) in the newly created role of chairman of Havas Group Indonesia.

Sudradjat was most recently with Grey Group, where he spent 17 years, nine as the chairman and CEO. Before that, he was managing director at MediaCom and also had a stint with Dentsu Indonesia as a media director. Sudradjat’s responsibilities will include leading the strategic vision and operational leadership for Havas Group’s integrated operations in line with the group’s “Together” strategy.

Meanwhile, Anwesh Bose (pictured right), currently Havas Media Indonesia CEO, takes on the role as Havas Group Indonesia CEO. He will be responsible for the day to day functioning of all brands including the flagship brands – Havas Media and Havas. Bose joined the agency as managing director in 2014 and was promoted to the role of CEO of Havas Media Group last year. Before Havas, Bose had stints with DDB Mudramax and Dentsu Media in India.

“The new leadership structure has been devised to accelerate the evolution of our collaborative Village model. Agus’ experience in the local market and his successful track record of working with creative and media agencies makes him an ideal choice to lead our integrated Indonesian operations,” Vishnu Mohan, CEO of Havas Group, Southeast Asia said.

Mohan said that this is also a well-deserved promotion for Bose, who has played an important role in the growing Havas’ media operations.

“Havas Group has been making a lot of waves in Indonesia owing to its Village strategy. The Havas Village model of collaboration and integration is exactly what clients are looking for. I am pleased to be a part of Havas’ futuristic model and look forward to working closely with the Indonesian team to take this proposition forward,” Sudradjat said.
